Below we set out our privacy policy which governs the way in which we store and process any personal information that you provide to us. We will notify you if the way in which we process your information is to change at any time. You can access our home page and browse our site without disclosing your personal data save information collected by cookies that we may use (see below).

Your personal information (which includes your name, email address and any other details you provide to us which concern you as an individual) may be collected by us if you provide it (we do not purchase lists) and such personal information may be processed by us. Processing your information as mentioned above will be done in accordance with this privacy policy.

Purpose of processing

By registering with, or by trialling or purchasing our products, we store such personal data as you provide to us for the purpose of informing you of updates to our services and new releases of products or services from ourselves or a select list of partner organizations. These communications take the form of product announcements, occasional email newsletters and other emails relevant to the products and services we provide that you have expressed an interest in.

Disclosure of information

We may use aggregate information for statistical analysis and these statistics may be made public at our discretion. Countersoft personnel with access to personal data are trained in the handling of personal data, in particular they are fully aware of GDPR compliance requirements.

Access to information

You may ask us whether we are storing personal information about you by emailing us at At your request we will provide you with a copy of the personal data we hold about you by email. We will ask for proof of identity before providing any personal information and reserve the right to refuse to provide information requested if identity is not established. We do not sell our customer data to other companies, or divulge any of your personal details to other companies or individuals. We may include links on to other companies' sites. We are not responsible for the privacy policies and content of those sites.

Right to be excluded from contact

Our email communications have the option for you to unsubscribe. You may remove yourself from our email communications in this manner any time you receive a communication from us. At any other time you may contact us by emailing and request to be removed from our customer database. We shall do so provided you are able to provide the identification required, in most cases this is simply an email matching the email address we have on file for you.

Right to be forgotten

If you request removal from our email communications you will also be 'forgotten' as your information will be deleted, not marked for no contact. You may do this at any time by emailing your request to

Data in trial systems

Customers who trial Gemini may enter their personal data in trial instances. Unlike customer instances, Countersoft is responsible for the data in trial instances when the trial ends. All trial databases and all data within them is deleted no more than 14 days after the end of the trial. If you take a trial you may contact us at any time and request we terminate the trial and delete your data. Data in the trial data and data relating to your email address and name are stored separately. You must request your data be removed from our customer database if you no longer wish to receive marketing communications from us. We do not as a rule contact triallists more than 30 days after the end of their trial.

Data in customer productions systems

Countersoft does not share or have access to any data in hosted or on-premise customer systems. Countersoft is therefore not responsible for the data or for compliance with any data regulations held in customer systems. Countersoft provides applications its customers can purchase in order to regularly delete personally identifiable information from their Gemini databases, and will freely consult with customers on the subject such that they are able to perform this type of activity themselves if they need to.
