As we promised just before the Summer, Gemini 3.6 sports a completely new User Interface — an even more appealing look-and-feel coupled with innovative yet intuitive, usability enhancements. You can now see Gemini 3.6 running in anger on our public Gemini Issue Tracker instance: http://gemini.countersoft.com. We use Gemini to manage Gemini — shouldn’t all Bug Tracking / Issue Tracking Vendors provide a public instance of their own Product?! We do and have done so for a good few years.

Here's a brief summary of "what's fixed / new / improved":

Dynamic Issue Filters – ultra-fast, compact, dynamic issue filters like no other!
Re-vamped Dashboards — Global, Project, User, and Issue Dashboards totally re-vamped to provide an even more crisp user experience.
Movers & Shakers — quick summary info per project providing a handle on Project Activity.
Quick Issues – bulk create issues specifying minimal data.
Roadmap & Change Log – summarised metrics and charts provide insight into Issues addressed.
Nested Versions – organize Versions in a Hierarchical fashion (great for SCRUM Sprint organization).
Tables or Charts — decide whether you want see summary data in Tabular or Chart fashion.
SCRUM Burndown Chart — display data based upon Hours Logged or Issues count.
Inline Editing Everywhere – Users and Admins can inline edit data as they see it.
Time Reporting – roll up time data at any level and see time logged by Time Types (e.g Billable).
Mega Menus, Less Clicks – slick navigation experience provided by Mega-Menus.
POP3 Mailbox Processing – now tracks and auto-emails external email submitters.

Gemini 3.5.2 Released

This release addresses a few key bug fixes affecting both Gemini and add-on products.

Existing customers should upgrade immediately by replacing the Gemini web application with the new release (no database changes in this release).

This release introduces major new features as well as resolving bug fixes.

Gemini migrated to latest .NET 3.5 SP1 runtime.
Project Templates: export selected issues into a reusable ZIP file format. Enables the creation of new projects based upon templates that contain selective issues. Jump start your projects!
Version level dates, milestones, burndown charts, and detailed progress resource/version report charts. All round better Agile Project support.
Adhoc Reporting: allows users to create simple reports including charting capabilities. Reports can be saved, made public, and then displayed under Project Reporting.
Free-Busy Reporting: view resource workload either across multiple or single projects to determine who is loaded, and who is not.
Report Engine Revised: Project Reports caneb created via simple User Controls.
Report Visibility: detemine which users can see which reportings.
New API: REST-based web services API supporting XML and JSON formats.
Issue Time Log Types: tag type of time being logged.
POP3 Mailbox administration screens.
Sub-issues: tighter workflow enforcing child issue closing before closing parent issue.
Gemini translated to Hindi and Danish.
IE8, Google Chome, Firefox compatibility enhancements.
Bulk User account maintenance options.
Taxonomy Overrides: store on-screen labels and in separate XML files for easier management.
XML format project Backup & Restore options.
Global email alert setting maintenance options.
Add-ons: single sign-on across all add-on products.
Add-ons: Gemini TimeTracker suspends time recording when workstation locked, more resilience against loss of network connectivity.
Add-ons: Gemini Desktop allows users to select which projects to download for offline working mode.

Gemini 3.1 Released

This release includes some important bug fixes as well as introducing a new Gantt Chart.

We have completely re-vamped the Issues Gantt Chart providing a fully interactive user experience: drag/drop, right-click to amend/create Issue Start/due Dates. This provides functionality traditionally associated with tools such as Microsoft Project. We will continue to improve the Gantt experience in 2009!
A welcome addition to this release is the introduction of Inline Issue Editing -- edit the issue whilst viewing the issue.
Huge performance improvements have been made that can be seen on our public accessible Performance Site: over 100,000 issues running on a single, standard Database and Web Server.
We have also added CAPTCHA support to improve protection against automated, unsolicited content addition.
Project level Reporting has been re-vamped and will continue to grow in forthcoming releases in 2009.
Bulk Issue Moving has been introduced to help simplify management of issues en masse.
